Regarding Last post to James Stein

January 16, 2010 by Sal   Comments (1)

, , , , , ,

Just want to clear something up for some folks that misunderstood the intent behind my last post to James.  I bought his WSO when he was in the process of an upgrade - I am NOT angry with this man. It's just that I had something I needed out right away so I figured the system out and now I want to play. It's a game folks - he's not ripping me off - that's not what's up here.  It's just that he gave me time to think, and I do crap like this when I think.  So I'm just having fun with him, Okay?  I might just get some real action out of this game on my own end - but don't mistake that I don't know how strong he is on his end....don't even think it.  If he had his system in line at the moment he'd be smacking me real good.   So don't worry - I'll probably get the best money's worth out of a WSO that anyone ever before on that forum.  I'm just playing chess here.  I wanna see how far I can stand up to him in his own game because I just learned the rules.  Now if I do hit google one for everything I paid for.........I'll just change the order specs.  Not a problem. LOL.

Hey - YooHoo James Stein - A.K.A. RIchJerksNet.com Wanna Play a Game?

Hi James,

Can you be pwned?

Listen guy, I have a game for you. Ya see, about 12 days ago I bought a WSO from you - ya know the backlink thingy.  I didn't quite "get" the whole game so I  put my money in your pocket.  Well after two weeks of waiting  - lets play a game.

See - I get bored fast and right now I don't need links to one of the URL's I specified in the Order.  I emailed you about that - so you will see the request to change it.  You don't need to.  See, that was a real time sensitive issue - and the peak time just ran out.  You can just put the effort into the other two for this game and then just drop the calendar links.  Here's what gives.

Well, I was talking to a pal with some sharps on the issue because I wanted to get my WSO back out to the world without another darned $20 that I needed for other stuff coming out of my pocket.  I'm sure that you heard that Haiti just got hit by an extremely deadly quake - and I wanted to be able to put some incoming funds to aid for those poor souls.   My friend said something very interesting to me - and about 45 minutes later, this was the result:

Okay - so I thought it was all because the Warrior forum link blew it off the chart.  Maybe - but maybe not.

You see - I just got some interesting results for what I did on my own with the other URL. It turns out I actually pwn the first half of google first page for the key prhase for that URL now:

SEE?

image

I got to page one for 3 others, too - and page two for another.

Well, you can see now I need something else to do.  So I am going to see if I can blow the other two URLS I gave you for links off the charts for some key phrases, too.

So lets play the "show me"  game and see if you can blow  off the top of google, too - for other key phrases than I am using.  Use your imagination.  Are ya up for it? Let's have some fun here.

Here are a few links to my articles so you can see what keywords I'm using.

http://salssecretsrevealed.com/outlooks/uncategorized/jan-25-proceeds-of-skin-care-and-weight-guides-to-haiti-relief/

http://rockhoundstation1.net/wp/2010/general/rhs1-community-challenge-funds-for-haiti-aid/

Up to this time, these are the only links I have posted -  I'm getting ready to post more real fast, but I'm on my own and you have a whole team.  I've got some of the worst keywords ever for getting actual google attention, too.  I'm sure with your experience and software access you can pwn me real fast on this one for any other keywords and phrases you choose, eh?

12 days is a long time.  I get bored much faster than that.

When Do You Stop Being A Newb

January 14, 2010 by Sean Sheehan   Comments (1)

I saw this over on the WF, and figured I'd rather write out a blog post here where my friends can read rather than post on the WF itself where people most likely will not appreciate the words I will be saying.

WHEN DO I STOP BEING A NEWB?

You don't.

You there, reading this thread, you are a newb. I, the one writing this am a Newb. There is no growing out of it. You will always be a newb.

Why?

It is simple, you do not know everything, and you never will. There will always be someone better than you, someone who knows more, someone who had better techniques, etc.

Isn't this a defeating post, Sean? Aren't you supposed to be a life coach or something now?

It's not meant to be defeating, its meant to be an eye opener. The sooner you stop trying to hard to stop being a newb, the better. You'll always have to learn, and you should enjoy having to learn to keep up with everything. Can you imagine not having to learn anything to hold an income, and just being stuck with the same ideas and practices all the time? No room for improvement?

I see people do that to themselves in online. They shut themselves off from new information, believing theirs to already be the best, and they don't have to learn diddly-squat.

Those are the people who will fail, and those people are flat out idiots to do that to their own business.

So, be a newb and be proud. You have a life of learning ahead of you, as well as a great future in IM if you can enjoy having to learn to keep up with your business.

Never stop learning, and your possibilities are truly endless.

Do You Have A Good Mindset?

January 13, 2010 by Sean Sheehan   Comments (1)

, ,

Simple question really. Is your mindset good enough for online marketing?

I know for a fact that a year ago, my mindset was absolute shite. There was nothing in the world that was going to change how I saw this as a get-rich-quick scheme and just waiting to have all this amazing stuff drop right into my lap.

I took the entire year off in 2009 to get away from IM for a bit, it was just too much for my mind to handle at the time with all the different things going on in my life.

During that time, I became a car salesman, and that is when my life truly changed, as did my mindset.

It wasn't about these little commissions for clickbank there, hoping to get 2-4 sales a day on a $20-$50 product. It was about selling something for tens of thousands of dollars so that I could make sure that both me and my girl could eat.

I learned real quick what it took. Cold calling, being the bad guy, doing what it took to get leads, having 16 hour days, 90 hours a week, working with customer after customer after customer telling me no I don't want to buy a car today.

My first month I sold over $100,000 worth of cars. One of those was to a gentleman where I turned a $30k sale into a $60k sale by selling him a brand new Trailblazer and a brand new Chevy Silverado. He did not want the Silverado, and it took everything I had to get him into that vehicle even for a test drive.

Thats it though. There is a point in every sales pitch that if you can get your customer to that point, its a done deal. He was a done deal as soon as he was in that truck and driving it. He tried hiding that smile from me, but I knew.

That is the problem with most internet marketers I see today, they do not know how to sell.

Selling takes connection on a personal level with your customer. That is everything you should know.

I had been taken to dinner by a guy on several occations, and I didn't even sell him a car. In fact, my company DENIED HIM A CAR. But I had worked hard with this guy and he liked me for ME, not for the sales guy my coworkers were trying to be.

I connected with every customer I came across, all left telling me they'd recommend me, even though 80% of them did not get a car.

Do your customers still want to recommend you even though you couldn't get them the product they wanted?

If not, then you have some serious work to do.

Get in that mindset, you need those sales. But you need the customer as a person more. Connect, connect, connect. I WILL NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Connect to your customers. They will turn into customers for life, just like the guy I couldn't get into a vehicle. He will still take me to dinner anytime I ask.

Where is your mindset? You should be able to make your customers love you like that too. Its not all about the sale, its not all about making the money.

Sales and money come with customers. Make happy customers, and you will NEVER worry about money again.

Being First in Line.

January 13, 2010 by Sal   Comments (3)

, , , ,

Okay, it's a new site and not a lot of traffic in here yet.  Some people decide to click off instead of register because of that.  Guess lessons are hard to come by when people are foaming at the mouth for instant rewards.  Let's think about that though.

Many of you here were probably directed over here from the WF via an interesting link in Jared's sig file. You may have, or not, been in the WF for a long time.  If you have, and you haven't figured out why it is important to get to the front of the line, you have to be spending all your time in the WSO forum or something because you're trying real hard to make a buck without learning much if you are thinking of leaving here without registering.

Get in first while it's fresh, because, if you can see straight you will see there are a lot of really kewl features here. This is a site that will go, not a problem.  Who do you think the authority figures on the site will be when it does?  The guy that drives by once in awhile to see if the place is crowded yet, or the guy that people meet when they walk in the door?

This is a new place with features that rock. You see here your opportunity to be founding members of a community - to be the guy that people want to rub shoulders with, to know - you have a chance to be the expert and the first to know everything about the community - to watch it grow and to know the little "in the know" stuff about who's sneaking around JVing with who, who's working on exploding what niche.  You will know because people will see YOUR face when they walk in the door and it will be YOU that they come to when they have questions.

Go ahead - click off.  If you aren't sharper than that, we'll see you back here someday anyway.  But it will be one heck of a lot harder for you to get established here because the core group will already be swamped with the JV endeavors they formed when the place was new and the first members were getting tight with knowing the founding core group.  You'll end up the same way ya did at the WF. A day late, a dollar short, and wishing you could have been one of the first with that tight knit core group that is making all the plans and doing all the new stuff -- read that, making all the bucks.

Your ship might have docked right here........are you at the airport?

Just sayin'..........
